Purpose of the Role

The Data, Analytics, and Technology (DAT) team in Marketing drives Springer Nature\'s value exchange with the Science Community by enabling the business to make data-driven decisions as well as implementing technologies and automation processes based on data and analytics for effective and efficient marketing, communication, and customer engagement.

We are searching for an Associate Product Manager - Marketing Data to drive the development & delivery of marketing data use cases and processes that increase the reach and impact of marketing campaigns by growing our databases with high-quality contacts and improving the customer journeys by taking a more data-driven, personalized, and automated approach.

The job can be based in Pune (India) and it is part of an international team based in various of our global offices. Additionally, some travel might be required.

Our teams are cross-functional, diverse, and have different experience levels and professional backgrounds. All team members collaborate to deliver the best solutions that satisfy our customers\' needs.

Experience: 2 - 4 years

Location: Kharadi, Pune

Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to define a long-term vision for various Marketing Data Products. Own and be responsible for the delivery of the roadmap, providing visibility to the senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Ensure that marketing requirements, use cases, and processes are implemented end-to-end.

Proactively drive the continuous improvement of marketing processes together with the marketing technology teams

Collaborate with other product managers/product owners, analytics, and marketing teams to understand the needs of our customers and prioritize data capabilities that maximize the value delivered to end-users.

Translate business requirements into technical requirements and enable timely delivery by creating, owning, and refining user stories and artifacts that describe and detail new features and articulate their business value.

Collaborate in cross-functional teams and often remote setups

About the Role:

What will help you to succeed in this role

Ability to rapidly understand complex functional and technical requirements and dive deep into the details, document or capture findings and simplify complex topics

Excellent communication skills and be able to clearly articulate concepts and ideas; from both a technical and a business point of view

Strong prioritization and project management skills, understanding of business impact for solutions

Data-driven and hypothesis-led thinking, able to balance user research and business objectives

Proactively building relationships to convince and influence as necessary

Knowledge in the field of Marketing and respective data and processes

First product management experience is a plus

Experience working in a fast-paced, constantly changing and dynamic environment
