Responsibilities To ensure that the Valuation Control responsibilities as a function are met. These include, Prepare valuation reports on a timely and accurate basis. Perform reconciliation of valuations numbers with Product control and ledger posting. Review and maintain the bank&rsquos valuation policies in accordance to various accounting and regulatory guidelines. Obtain the fair value hierarchy from the various VC asset classes of all fair value instruments after the monthly IPV process. Responsible for Month-end MIS reporting Develop deep understanding of the valuation control processes supporting the XVA, Rates, FX and Credit portfolios, including IPV, fair value adjustments, and prudent value adjustments. Work with the VC-Methodology team to develop approaches to estimate stressed uncertainty levels around key market valuation inputs to the portfolios mentioned above. Help to support the BAU valuation control process for the main asset classes, including FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities, Treasury and Loan Syndications, as required. Assume responsibility for the support and development of all related working files used to estimate stressed PVA. Pro-actively improve and automate both current and future processes associated with stressed PVA. Perform any ad hoc requests by management. Ensure that all PVA stress testing documentation is kept up to date. Business Support Product Control at the organizational level, keeping in mind the relevance to business strategy. Apply a structured methodology to deliver the project through creation/execution of a plan to support adoption of the changes. Processes The main function of this role will be: Prepare various valuation reports, presentations and regional reporting packs. To facilitate, understand and make available the fair value hierarchy to country finance of all fair value financial instruments after VC asset class review. Formulating and reviewing the bank&rsquos valuation policies in accordance to various accounting and regulatory guidelines. C&A reporting and supports daily preparation of TRR report, identification and reporting of TRR exception to Front Office of FM products across the globe. Role Specific Technical Competencies Valuation Experience - Core Excel, VBC and SQL - Entry Stake holder management - Core Our Ideal Candidate Educated to degree level preferably with a Finance / master&rsquos degree in a quantitative subject / IT. Strong IT skills. In particular Excel, VBA, and SQL. 4-6 years of experience on PVA, MIS and Controllership roles (preferably working within support functions from Middle Office Control / Market Data Control / Product Control / Valuation Control) Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output. Lateral thinker who is a strong team player with ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both written (report and guideline writing) and verbally. Analytical and challenging mindset. &ldquoCAN DO" attitude.
