• Position: Associate Manager - AP
• Location: Hyderabad
• Reporting to: Manager F&A

About the Role:
We are looking for someone to assist in the accounts and finance function. The candidate will be working closely with Manager-Finance & Accounts to ensure that the Books of Accounts are in a good shape and adhering to applicable laws and standards. They need to have a thorough understanding of how accounting and finance functions work in a dynamic startup.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor day to day accounting activities.
• Ensuring that the Books of accounts are up to date with all relevant checks done for monthly MIS.
• Handling end to end Accounts payable function including vendor management.
• Ensuring vendor related communications are prompt and deadlines are adhered to.
• Preparation of data & filing of periodical statutory returns including GST & TDS returns.
• Coordination with other teams to obtain the data relevant for book closure.
• Generating other adhoc reports as per the requirements of management.

MUST HAVE Skills:

• Strong knowledge on accounting principles and concepts.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of statutory compliances like GST, TDS, etc.,
• Working experience on cloud accounting software’s like QuickBooks.
• Sound knowledge on MS Office.

Ideal Candidate:

• A B.com or M.com graduate or a CA (Final/IPCC) drop out.
• Experience of 3-4 years in accounting and finance function.
• Prior experience in vendor management and handling AP function.
• Self-Initiator and good team player who can drive the team in right direction. (Should be able to manage a team of 2)

Key success metrics for this role:

• Review of books and ensuring a proper book closure every month.
• Ensuring periodical vendor reconciliations are taking place.
• Adherence to monthly statutory compliances.
