Allstate Roadside Services (ARS) is recruiting Associate Manager to join our Engineering team in India. Our common goal is to build digital products that support the strategy of Allstate Roadside Services, a division within the Allstate brand that provides roadside rescues for our customers. Driving quality by leveraging test-driven development with continuous integration & continuous delivery is key to our engineering approach. We value independent thinking and continuously learning technology skills to build digital products that will fundamentally change safety on the roadways for drivers who need an immediate rescue.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Work
- Build and Manage technical and functional Product Roadmaps for Integration services team
- Participate in PI Planning meeting and collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize capabilities and features
- Actively participates in the design of software components
- Uses experience to challenge approaches but also makes reasonable compromises to achieve delivery objectives
- Problem Solving: Acting as a point of escalation for the engineering team to assist with resolving issues with current technology environments
- Uses analytical skills to diagnose support issues that may not be well understood initially
- Mentoring and guiding associates within team on technical issues and challenges
- Enhancing competencies of team members on TIBCO Product Suite
- Participating in performance reviews and providing feedback to team members
Experience
- 12+ years of work experience
- 8+ years of experience working on TIBCO BW, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO ADMIN, TIBCO HAWK, APIGEE, SQL QUERIES
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Prior experience managing DevOps team of 6-8 developers
