Roles and Responsibilities Job Summary: The Web Development Associate Manager is responsible for leading the Digital Design Services Team throughout the project life cycle to support the design, development and implementation of websites and other web products. The job holder oversees the production & quality process and acts as liaison between Web Designers, Quality Controller, Team Lead and Managers. Also mentors the team and monitors all Service Level Agreements (SLA). This position reports into the Operations Manager for one of our top 10 clients. This client has big plans and our job is to ensure that we are an absolutely solid partner to them so that they can absolutely rely on us to produce three nines quality at scale. Key Management Responsibilities: Leading, Developing and Growing People Create an environment that reflects the Affinity X core values. Ownership of the training and development of his/her team. Leverage the strengths and capabilities of his/her team, and address areas for development through various daily learning interventions. Provide coaching, directing, and mentoring of team members. Give regular and timely feedback on performance. Create an environment that inspires and motivates team members to meet and exceed their production metrics (daily huddles, team motivators, celebration of successes etc.) Addressing the day to day planning, problem-solving and decision-making Delegate and entrust responsibilities to team leaders, while setting performance standards and expectations. Addressing issues and concerns that require the participation of the team members, including those disciplinary in nature ensuring there is no negative impact on productivity and service delivery. Help establish relationships among peers and subordinates and maximize the output of various support services such as IT, Operations, HR/Administration and Finance. Implement company policies and procedures. Managing Results Focus on continual improvement of KPI results to exceed the targets through process, systems and team member improvements Consistently meet the KPIs (on quality, productivity, people management, etc) Oversee the daily process, ensures timeliness and quality of output. Conduct employee evaluations and other feedback mechanisms that can immediately correct errors. Maintain accurate management information and reports. Accountable for customer communications, conflict resolution and compliance on customer deliverables as they relate to the role. Be extremely responsive and proactive with the client and supervisors. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Bachelor Degree (added advantage postgraduate) Seasoned operations professional with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience. Ability to work night shifts and in a 24x7 work environment and across various time-zones and extended hours. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in growing the skills and careers of team members Must be extremely motivated, organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively with superiors and employees at all levels. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to apply critical and strategic thinking. Strong analytical skills (data, reporting and analysis of data) Ability to multi-task and assist the company in any capacity as required by the business Must be flexible to adapt to functional changes and the ability to work with minimal supervision. UI/UX Design or website domain knowledge would be an added advantage.
