Title: Associate Manager-Quality Assurance

Reporting Manager: Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To improve product quality by enforcing the Quality System, analyzing and reporting on the Quality Information and action plans ensuring highest product quality standards for ITC's Stationery products

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop, implement and maintenance of a Quality Management System for the business
• Plan and conduct Quarterly Warehouse Quality Audits (WHQA)
• Tracking Root Cause Analyses and Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Track customer complaints received through portal or other media. Resolve the complaint by communicating to the customer to understand the issue and replace defective product with a good product
• Maintain the Quality Information Database Qgol upto date with WHQA In conjunction with the brand team conduct product benchmarking exercise with consumers and competition products
• Participate in Focused Improvement Projects assigned
• Implementation of NBFT Quality Module
• Sending Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to issues raised in PQRS, Customer Complaints, WHQA, Form-B, Process Audits, Spot ASI
• Follow up till closure of the issue
• Conduct risk analyses, identify critical control points, establish critical limits, monitoring and verification procedures
• Conduct laid down quality checks as per defined periodicity, sample sizes and methodology
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory norms

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• B-Tech -Mechanical/Electrical
• Six Sigma Black belt certified individual required.
• Knowledge of TQM, FMEA, RCA, Time & Motion Study, Gauge R&R & lean manufacturing tools is must.
• Experience is SAP : QM Module preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience of Customer Relationship Managementpreferred with strong communication & analytical skills.
• Experience in quality assurance of outsourced manufactured products is preferred.
• 2 years - 5 years of experience in Quality team
• Preferably from FMCG, Process Industry
