Olam Global Business Services (OGBS) is a captive unit that offers End to End business process and analytics solutions. At this moment, OGBS is located in City of Chennai, India and provides its services to over 20 countries. Develop and manage the Product roadmap for Olam "Smart Logistics" technology solutions
Constantly stay updated with Industry innovations and leading practices in global Logistics,
drive adoption of relevant solutions at Olam
Analyze the business requirements of all business units and country teams to determine their
technology needs. Responsible to aggregate logistics-related challenges and create a roadmap
for right-fit technology solutions
Drive analysis around most cost-effective technology solutions and devise plans to optimize
technology roll-out costs
Present Product and its value benefits to business teams and seek approval for product rollout
Manage Budget and costs for the Smart Logistics Product
Manage Internal communications around product success to enhance adoption
Drive Olam "Smart Logistics" Product governance
Devising and establishing IT policies, guidelines, and systems to support the implementation
of Integrated Logistics Mgmt. strategies set by Olam business & IT leadership.
Maintain and continuously improve the central guidelines and best practices for TMS (OTM &
others) and other logistics applications
Collaborate deeply with the Business stakeholders, Internal SAP GT (Global Template), IT
Infosec, IT infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure that the logistics applications
meet both user/ business needs and IT guidelines
Foster the use of established techniques, templates, presentations, and assets through both
the implementation and support team practices covering, analysis, tools, and materials.

Profile Description

• Experience of minimum 2-3 multi-year global roll-out of TMS solutions (Oracle Transportation

Management) in large global companies leveraging a global template for TMS.
Min of 4+ years' experience as a logistics business team member.
Any experience of building or running a Logistics Control Tower (LCT) will be an added advantage
Lead and manage a central team of TMS Consultants to drive implementation and support activities for
all solutions in the Integrated logistics management area.
Ability to understand business pain points, articulate business benefits, and create a business case for
the roll-out of logistics solutions.
Should have good working knowledge of project management tools like Jira, MS-Project and analytical
support tools MS-Office Excel.
Exposure to business processes and extensive experience across multiple SAP core modules with
mastery on at least one module and working knowledge on the business process in remaining functional
areas
