Job Description

• Minimum 12-15 years of CRO work experience with international exposure having focus on synthetic medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams and complex projects.

• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills with proficiency in English; additional language skills like Japanese are a plus.

• Track record of scientific publications and presentations at international conferences.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Provide scientific leadership and strategic direction for the R&D department.

• Oversee a team of around 50 full-time employees (FTEs) with Team Leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence.

• Liaise with multiple clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality research services and maintain strong professional relationships.

• Foster safe work practices and lab hygiene at all times.

• Drive the development of innovative research methodologies and processes in synthetic organic chemistry.

• Strong expertise in analytical data interpretation of various techniques.

• Ensure that projects are executed effectively and in alignment with client objectives and requirements.

• Mentor and develop team, including performance evaluation, training and succession planning.

• Contribute to the preparation of research proposals, grants and publications.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the company\xe2\x80\x99s R&D efforts.
