About the Department The purpose of this position is to support Novo Nordisk - IO Procurement Office (Zurich) in three areas of the Procurement Value Chain, namely Sourcing, Spend Management & Analysis, and Supplier Management. In this position, the incumbent will work in a matrix organization structure having a solid line reporting to Finance GBS (Global Business Services), Procurement - Business Insights & Sourcing and dotted line to the Sr. Director, IO Procurement. IO Strategic Operations is headquartered in Zurich and has 7 regional units: NWE, SEEMEA, Germany, China, Japan, LATAM and APAC. GBS Procurement is the offshoring unit of Global Procurement and is part of Finance GBS, Bangalore. Business Insights and Sourcing, team is overall responsible for supporting IO procurement team with End-to-End Sourcing Project Support, spend analytics, Supplier management, Contracting, Reports and Dashboards. The Position As an analyst, you will be primarily responsible for providing high quality analysis and decision support to IO Procurement Office. Your key responsibilities are executing sourcing activities for the International Operations Organisation and need to support in category strategy plan development in terms of spend baseline analysis, opportunity assessment and category insights for indirect procurement. All tasks require clear written and verbal communication, effective stakeholder relationship management, project management and effective global collaboration. Driving & manage multiple sourcing projects for the indirect spend areas in the IO Procurement Office. Experience in supplier research, selection, negotiation & contracting. Manage win/win sourcing strategies with suppliers. Gathering Business requirements and managing demand management data for various business units and analyse saves opportunities utilizing spend data. Demonstrated success dealing remotely, you will need to interact regularly with senior stakeholders in different regions of Novo Nordisk and with suppliers on a regular basis. Demonstrated ability to construct and manage RFIs/RFPs/RFQs to drive supplier selection processes. Demonstrated track record of applying influencing, persuasion, presentation skills, Experience in conflict resolution. Your tasks will also include driving and publishing monthly/yearly performance dashboards and presentations. Qualifications Should have completed a bachelor's degree from a reputed university. You have 3-5 years of experience in sourcing & procurement, from a leading organization. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Spend Data Analytics . Experience in COUPA or other Procurement systems for e-Sourcing, Contract management & procurement functions will be an advantage. Strong communicator, and have experience in global stakeholder management. Track record of applying influencing, persuasion, presentation skills and experience in conflict resolution. Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthe data driven insights.
