Inviting applications for the role of Quotation Specialist

Responsibilities

Interaction:

• The Quotation Specialist is responsible for processing, tracking, and communicating quoting opportunities for any new or existing customers. This position is accountable for providing quotations to customers and Sales Reps by utilizing sales and accurate, reasonable technical knowledge delivery.
• The Customer Quotation Specialist interprets customer and Sales Reps requirements and offers solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer.
• Coordinates with Sales Representative to determine and/or clarify bid requirements to ensure quality output.

Activities:

• Work with Sales and Account Management to strategize and develop product pricing for prospective and existing business while ensuring its competitiveness and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Perform complex business and systems analysis work, root cause analysis and provide forward thinking, long term technical solutions; conduct requirements gathering/analysis following the Agile methodology
• Identify and collaborate effectively with various business stake holders globally to solve key business challenges through implementing best practice solutions involving process change, configuration, and or customization.
• Has a strong focus on gathering core requirements, beyond stated requirements and correctly places these within a broader context
• Ensure regular Agent follow-ups on all pending quotes (as required) and status updates for all system generated quotations, seeking further information to facilitate cross-selling / provision of additional services and greater awareness of competitor pricing & strategy
• Management of day-to-day priorities and tasks; shifting frequently as situations demand. Balance financials with operational and strategic needs while remaining sensitive to client deadlines and the overall goal.
• Coordination of Company responses to client and prospect requests for proposal
• Maintain a working knowledge of legal considerations, compliance and restrictions that affect moving pricing.
• Perform impact analysis of the current business process, understand best practices, identify gaps, define future state system process flow.
• Responsible to design and document cross-functional and global solutions for major enhancements or projects.
• Develops functional designs for applications, integrations with third party products and conversions
• Keeps up to date with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs
• Reviews functional designs and obtains sign-offs with the cross functional business and IT teams
• Improves systems and processes by studying current practices and designing modifications
• Advises on solutions prepared by peers or supporting team, and champions good design practices
• Successfully graduating the training plan attached to the position and the tasks
• Updating the working procedures periodically
• Maintain and develop relationships with relevant markets and client serviced by team and all major customers within those markets as appropriate
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovative solutions and communicate to direct manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• India \xe2\x80\x93 Any graduate from a recognized university
• Relevant years of experience
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Possess ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate and partner with internal and external stake holders

Experience required:

• Industry Experience - Services or hi-tech industry
• Worked on SAP, CPQ and Salesforce
• Process/Domain Experience:

o Quote Management
o Contract Administration
o Quote to cash process and sales administration

Preferred Qualifications:
o Advanced business communication (written & oral) skills with ability to explain technical information to customers without the background
o Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making are three crucial strengths that are required from a good business analyst
o Conducted research and applied strong analytical and critical thinking skills for complicated pricing issues
