The Opportunity

We are seeking an E-Commerce Fulfilment - Assistant Manager with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment where they will be communicating with and working alongside our global team.

Reporting to the Head Logistics & Customer Service - SA & META, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of getting products from their source to the customer. You will manage our 3PL, who handle this process, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You may also be responsible for managing other aspects of the company\'s fulfillment operations, such as inventory management or shipping procedures. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems. Support key branded product and packaging projects through the Stage-Gate process and ensure compliance from the cross-functional team.

  • Working alongside a 3PL and utilizing their WMS software to optimize warehouse and fulfilment operations
  • Ensure accurate inventory management for D2C platform, manage new product listing, manage phase-in phase-out etc.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve any technical glitches to ensure flawless customer experiences.
  • Support in Forecasting and Inventory planning for D2C business considering actual sales, business plans, planned promotions and other events.
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfilment to meet operational goals
  • Providing data-backed and actionable updates to senior management to improve order fulfilment SLAs and vendor performance
  • Tracking performance metrics such as order cycle times, error rates, and customer satisfaction rates to identify areas for improvement
  • Providing customer service support to other departments within the company such as marketing or human resources, to help ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled by processing orders through computer systems, communicating with warehouse staff, or arranging for shipping services if necessary
  • Reporting weekly on multiple fulfilment and performance KPIs
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of Inventory and all the D2C costs for accurate cost settlements
  • Identify and implement projects to improve e-commerce channel efficiencies
The Skills you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • 4-5 years\' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
  • Prior experience and familiarity with warehouse operations*
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
  • Fulfilment managers need the following skills in order to be successful:
  • Communication with suppliers, customers, and other members of the team to convey information clearly and answer questions effectively.

  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Business-level communication skills (oral and written)
  • A strong customer-oriented focus
