Position Summary
ASSA ABLOY is looking for Business Development Manager for E-commerce channel, based out of Gurgaon to handle various facets of online operations, business planning, and marketing strategies. The BDM E-Commerce provides thoughtful analysis of market trends, strategies on how to increase brand awareness, insight on increasing online sales, and ways to improve customer acquisition and retention. Roles and Responsibilities:
To lead and drive operational excellence across multiple ecommerce platforms and markets to meet strategic, sales, profit and operational business goals
Drive the relationship for company with all online portals, online brand store bringing in global best practices, driving all category negotiations and managing overall e-commerce advertising spends
Scale up the online business both on marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart etc.) and own direct to consumer website
Responsible for daily, monthly, annual category planning for achieving the category numbers
Develop and oversee overall Performance Marketing Strategy and growth on the website
Set up planning framework and process with internal and cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of all on-platform events and assets for the category
Monitor site performance across platforms to maximize customer engagement and conversion
Customer Experience with better service levels and relationship building
Work closely with marketing and affiliated agencies on implementing customer and revenue enhancements
To be able to analyze and establish insights through analytical tools and use them to further business
Set up planning framework and process with internal and cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of all on-platform events and assets for the category
Scan market for opportunities to enlarge, activate and optimize the eCommerce sales funnel
Developing marketing plans & designs to launch new products & to assure achievement of agreed volume, market share and profit objectives
Defining the marketing strategy on product, pricing & positioning and executing the plan for online market place.
Skills Required:
Sound commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities
Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
Results oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivating.
Team working spirit and excellent communication skills
Education Qualification & Experience required:
Graduate with a 2 year full time MBA
12-14 years previous total experience, with preferable exposure of Consumer Durables, Appliances, IT, E-commerce or Home improvement products
Desired Qualification : Digital Marketing
Additional Information:
Travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business
