Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Single Line Diagram based on Motor Load / Feeder List
• Preparation of BOQ with specification based on Single Line Diagram
• Preparation Electrical and Control room Layout
• Selection of Transformer, HT Switchgear, PCC, MCC, PMCC, Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starters, Battery Charger, DG Set, PDB, NGR, Bus duct and HT, LT Motors
• Calculation and Selection of HT, LT Power and Instrument Cables
• Selection and Sizing of Panel, Earthing and Lighting, Capacitor
• Sound knowledge on LT and LT Power distribution
• Preparation of Technical Specification for PLC / HMI / Scada applications, Electrical panel and components
• Vendor Evaluation and Technical Recommendation to Procurement
• Estimation of Cost for Electrical components and Packages
• Adherence to Quality process for approval of Parts
• Commissioning support for projects and Root cause analysis for Electrical failures at Site
• Frequently travel to remote sites for plant Commissioning and Vendor inspection ?

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Required : BE in Electrical Engineering
Desirable: M-Tech in Electrical Engineering

No of years: 8 to 10 Years
Specific experience requirement:

• Electrical Engineering knowledge for HT, LT Feeders and Power distribution
• PLC / HMI programming and Scada Automation
• Experience in electrical / Automation system development in Crushing/Screening/Mining industries.
