Credit scoring is used for both existing HSBC customers and businesses looking to open an account with HSBC for the first time. The underwriters will be required to carry out a structured, independent judgmental assessment of the applicant\xe2\x80\x99s ability to repay the borrowing they have requested.RequirementsQualifications - ExternalKnowledge & Experience / QualificationsWhat you will need to succeed in the role:

• Qualified Chartered Accountants / MBAs. 1-2 years experience in Corporate / SME Credit or Relationship Management in a reputed Bank/ FI is preferred.
• Demonstrate commercial credit skills, not only on a transaction basis but also credit process management.
• In-depth understanding of credit products viz. \xe2\x80\x93 Short Term loans, working capital financing, knowledge of the HSBC Group, particularly banking operations and products. etc.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret data & facts to arrive at meaningful conclusions and assess the business / financial prospects of the borrowers
