Job Description



Posted On: 14th Sep 2021 Assistant Manager – Investment Banking will be responsible for working in the Investment Banking department of the Company. We expect the Candidate to be responsible, honest, dedicated and a thorough professional. Responsibilities:

  • Valuation of Listed & Unlisted Entities for Transactions (i.e. Mergers & Acquisitions, Demergers and Slump Sale), Financial Reporting and Regulatory purposes (i.e. Compliance with Income Tax, FEMA Regulations for Inbound & Outbound Investments, Companies Act).
  • Working on Fairness Opinion, Offer Documents and transactions like Open Offer under SEBI Guidelines.
  • Preparation of detailed Financial / Business Model.
  • Carrying out Financial Due Diligence for various transactions like IPO, Transaction Advisory, M&A Transactions.
  • Preparation of Financial, Business Approvals & Litigations Chapter which mainly includes preparation of restated financials of the company for the purpose of filing Offer Documents like Draft Prospectus, DRHP and Prospectus.
  • Analysing financial information, linking the financial statements in Excel, analysing transactions, performing sensitivity analysis, creating valuation model and doing ad hoc analysis.
  • Assisting the Accounts team of the Organisation for closing and finalizing its financial results.
  • Coordination and follow-up with the Clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s Services, Client categories.

  • Staying up-to-date with various notifications, updates and movements in the financial markets.
  • Attending seminars, webinars and social events.
  • Preparation of Newsletter, Investor Pitch Deck and Presentation.
  • Attending meetings and giving presentations.
  • Tracking Competitors activities and providing valuable inputs.
  • Any other role/responsibility (if any) as demanded from the Candidate by the management during the course of the Candidate’s tenure.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Proven work experience in the field of Valuations, Due Diligence or Transaction Advisory or similar role (At least 1 year) in the Consultancy sector like CA Firm or Business Consultancy Firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Internet and Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP like Tally.
  • Knowledge of corporate law.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in the English language and IT fluency.
  • Travelling for meetings.
  • Ability to work in Team. Focused & goal-driven, Possessing strong work ethics.
  • Research-oriented. Ability to be resourceful and proactive.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
