Posted On: 14th Sep 2021 One of our esteemed Clients is a Category-I Merchant Banker registered with the SEBI and aims to provide a one-stop solution for various investment banking & advisory services. It provides array of services for listed and unlisted companies; such as Valuations, Issue Management (i.e. SME & Main Board IPOs), Open Offers, Corporate Advisory and Debt Syndication. The Company is looking for an “Assistant Manager – Business Development” Job Brief: Business development managers are responsible for helping grow businesses by finding new opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships with potential clients. We expect Candidate to be responsible, honest, dedicated and a thorough professional. Responsibilities: -Develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s Services, Client categories. -Preparation of Teaser, Newsletter and Presentation. -Generating new Leads with the help of different sources and networking (eg. BNI, Social Media channels like LinkedIn, Common Contacts of self, colleagues and seniors). -Creating Funnels of contacts and regular follow-ups. -Identifying Prospective Clients & Professionals, attending meetings and giving presentations independently. -Coordination and follow-up with New Clients. -Maintenance of Calendar - Maintenance of all Contacts and Meetings. -Staying up-to-date with various updates and movements in the financial markets. -Attending Seminars, Webinars and Social Events. -Scheduling Interviews and Meetings as per requirement with the help of Agencies and Social Media. -Developing growth strategies and plans. -Developing promotional campaigns around major services of the company. : -Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. -Tracking Competitors activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning marketing strategies. -Any other role/responsibility (if any) as demanded from the Candidate by the management during the course of the Candidate’s tenure. Requirements: Qualification: MBA or CA. -Proven work experience as a Business Development Officer or similar role (At least 1 year) in Consultancy sector like CA Firm, CS Firm or Business Consultancy Firm. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Hands-on experience with Social Media Platforms (e.g. LinkedIn). -Professional attitude and appearance. -Strong communication skills and IT fluency. -Travelling for meetings. -Proficiency in English language. -Ability to be resourceful and proactive. -Excellent organizational skills. -Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. -Ability to self-motivate. -Experience working to and exceeding targets.
