Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Chandak Agarwal & Co. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met and providing exceptional service. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in goods and services tax (GST) accounting and compliance
• Experience in ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
• Excellent client handling and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven track record in team management and leadership
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using accounting software

• Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as their main point of contact for all accounting-related matters
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and payroll
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• Provide tax planning and compliance services, including GST accounting and taxation knowledge
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and address client needs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and providing strategic advice
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
• Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and fostering existing client relationships
