Position purpose:
Commercially adept sales person with starch industry or bulk chemicals background, where he/she must deliver the year\xe2\x80\x99s budget while building a portfolio of opportunities for future growth. Their individual portfolio will be based on current products into current applications. Work closely with customers to maximize value of our offerings for customers as well as Roquette. In addition work closely with customers, business developer and CTS to promote new products and applications to

maximize value for our products.

Position Location: Tamil Nadu / Andhra Pradesh / Telangana / Karnataka

Key competencies requirement

Must have worked in either starch industry or bulk chemicals preferably in South India.

Understanding & Knowledge of food & beverages industry will be added advantage

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work as team player with logistics, CCD, quality and customer care.

Targets orientation to achieve periodic sales volume and price targets.

New business development focus and quick learner.

Key Job Responsibilities

Work with closely with customers (traders and distributors) and end users to ensure higher level of satisfaction.

Point of contact for customer along with customer care to ensure timely supplies to customers.

Continuous monitoring of market prices, demand and competition activities.

Feedback to sales manager and sales head of these activities to take right pricing decisions to help achieve VM budget.

Negotiation with customers for pricing and volume to ensure optimum level of sales contracts volumes to achieve monthly and yearly budget.

Creation of new business opportunities and its reporting in CRM tool and regular update of these to realise the opportunities.

Ensure regular entry of visit and call reports in the CRM tool.

Follow up for timely payments with customers and resolve any claim related issues.

Work closely with customer care for contracts creation, scheduling of orders, claims settlement, sampling, price quotations and timely delivery to customers.

Academic background: University degree in chemistry or paper technology or chemical engineering or textile

Learning experience: Minimum 5-7 years experience in MNC in starch & chemical industry sector, MBA Preferred

Specific competency :

Experience in starch industry or bulk chemicals to have with commodity environment.

Proficient in MS Office - specially advanced excel, power point
