Job descriptionRole: Accounts Manager Industry Type: Accounting / Auditing Department: Finance & Accounting Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Accounting & Taxation The candidate must be familiar with the current accounting and compliance practices. Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Reconcile bank statements and identify and resolve any discrepancies. Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. statutory compliances, legal & regulatory compliance documentation, and statutory and tax audits. Manage customer accounts, including issuing invoices, collecting payments, and chasing overdue receivables. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including general ledgers, trial balances, and cash flow statements. Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Make qualitative analytical comments for the variances \xe2\x80\x93 both P&L and B/S movements Coordinate with external auditors during audits. Manage and maintain accounting databases and filing systems. Prepare and submit tax reports (may vary by company). Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy. Train and mentor junior accounting staff. Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and relevant regulations. Should be through with the following compliances. o Income Tax o GST o PF, PT and ESIC et Education and Experience Requirements: PGDBM / ICWA / CA / Inter CA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts and reporting.
