Our client leading Cotton Yarns, Knitted Fabrics & Garments export company their office located at Sindhu bhavan road Ahmedabad

Position: Yarn Merchandiser

Salary: 30000-45000 INR

Location: Sindhu bhavan , Ahmedabad

Office Time: 10:00 TO 06:30 (Monday to Saturday)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
• Analyzing sales figures, customers\xe2\x80\x99 reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales.
• Merchandiser keeps close monitoring on work progress from factory yarn booking, knitting, Dyeing lab dip, sampling, and day today entire merchandising Task
• Follow up for new sample development and shade matching.
• Identify problems or potential problems on samples.
• Work with supplier / factory people to ensure samples are accurate.
• Regular communication, give feedback to improve performance with both factory and buyer.
• Regular contact with suppliers and factories, visit when the issue is critical and there is a need for onsite checking and to provide a solution.
• A willingness to initiate change as the company grows to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and facilitate the growth of the company.
• Must understand price and buyer authenticity
• Able to work under tight timelines in a team environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong dedication to accuracy
• Prepare for yarn testing and evaluation, gathering the test samples, conducting, and recording tests, validating data, and presenting results.
• Completely ensuring that the yarn is according to customer specification.
• Evaluating the physical properties of yarn by using testing methods, normally in accordance with a standard; it includes fibre identification and trouble shooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Good Industry connect

Skills:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in textile industry
• Experience in YARNS is mandatory.
• Good Communication
