JOB TITLE: WELL DELIVERY MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Well Delivery Manager should be an experienced individual who is capable of leading a project team which involves well planning and Drilling/Completion/Workover Operations. They will have strong technical skills as well as project management skills. They will be responsible for making sure the well delivery process and well management system are properly applied. They will ensure that the project is delivered in compliance with all the relevant requirements, such as legislation, procedural and financial.

The well delivery manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities of the wells department, including reviewing, studying and approving operational/engineering programmes, reports and supervising the planning and execution of operations.

Ensures designs are technically robust and adequately risk assessed.

Accountable for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.

Accountable for safely achieving wells projects objectives.

Accountable for ensuring the wells projects are delivered in line with the Petrofac Project Delivery Process, Policies, Standards and Guidelines

Main client focal point for specific projects, i.e., Dealing with client concerns, issues and ensuring suitable action is taken to resolve.

Direct supervision of team to ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner with due regard to safety and the environment, in adherence with Petrofac requirements.

Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the project are managed in line with the Client\xe2\x80\x99s and Petrofac, HSEQ expectations.

Responsible for the development and implementation of key project HSEQ documentation, such as Bridging documents and QHSE plans.

Liaise with the client team including subsurface, facilities, services and production team, in addition to sub-contractors.

Drive the well delivery process for the assigned projects, ensuring that the process is correctly followed.

Supervise and coordinate the preparation of the budget, controls expenditure and justifies variances.

Main focal point for Client appointed third party/project resources to ensure continuity of overall project.

Development of project plans and lead the project reporting.

Responsible for ensuring that documents/work completed on project are reviewed adequately.

Responsible for identifying resource requirements / justifications for project.

Responsible for ensuring invoicing/time writing for project is prompt and accurate.

Responsible for developing the project roles and responsibility matrix in line with client expectations.

Lead in developing project specific plans and schedules.

Accountable for the project contract strategies and management plans, both for clients and service providers.

Identify technical deficiencies and obtain satisfactory solutions.

Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Ensure the project KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met.

Responsible for project performance improvement plans/Schedule and implementation plans.

Team lead in emergency response situation in line with agreed project documentation such as project specific Bridging Document and Emergency Response Plan.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (preferable but not essential) with minimum 15 years of experience in well engineering.

Valid IWCF certificate L4 or equivalent

Broad understanding of Well Construction activities including Drilling, Completions, Well Testing, and Well Services activities.

Prior experience of managing well operations and multi-discipline team of well engineers and supervisors.

Experience of rig site supervision of well operations.

Working knowledge of drilling rigs, rigsite operating procedures and risk management.

Excellent business acumen and commercial/financial awareness.

Excellent working knowledge of Drilling and Well Operations and equipment.

Prior experience of working with international operators.

Strong onshore and offshore experience.

Lead and guide a multi disciple team in delivering projects as expected by clients.

Day to day interaction with client.

Provide support and leadership.

Resolve technical and behavioral conflicts.

Prioritize work scopes accordingly with due cognizance of conflicting drivers (HSEQ, time, cost, progress, etc.)

Strong HSEQ leadership.

Legislative compliance.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong understanding of commercial and contracts management.
