  • Manage scope and schedules with an Agile-centric approach to prioritization and value delivery
  • Assist with user story creation and backlog management as well as building and maintaining a product roadmap.
  • Responsible for the day to day Project team delivery management control and delivery of IT projects within RDS
  • Is accountable for creating project deliverables that meet or exceed the expectations of the project stakeholder

What will you be doing?
  • Take accountability for the management of projects, end to end, ensuring that the project is delivered to time, cost, and quality.
  • Be a key contributor or work-stream leader for the successful delivery of the Programme/project to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standards
  • Manage or support the management of suppliers in line with agreed contractual obligations, milestones and quality standards.
  • Provide day to day direction to the project team and manage budgets.
  • Good communication skills to liaise between technology and business stakeholders
  • Own and drive the Project planning framework, ensuring that plans are developed and tracked to appropriate standards, are integrated effectively across all work-streams, are unambiguous and achievable, and that dependencies are clearly understood and managed
  • Own and drive the effective governance of the Project, ensuring that Bank technical, risk and other standards and compliance requirements are met and that the Project governance framework is comprehensively defined and firmly embedded across all areas of the Project
  • Support the management and co-ordination of projects, their interdependencies, and associated risks and issues, escalating to the Delivery Manager as appropriate to ensure project delivery
  • Control the Project scope, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercised
  • Run projects as an Agile team and assist other areas when required
  • Collaborate with other interfacing teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
  • Ensure all governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements are considered during development of requirements and designs
  • Develop and implement new business change processes, systems, products and services on a change project. Provide an aggregate high level view of the combined proposed solutions and ensure alignment with the change solution.
What we’re looking for:
  • Hands-on and Expert proficiency level in JIRA and MS-Project management tools
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to find ways to overcome obstacles and self-teach new concepts
  • Ability to manage and deliver Project scope in a business that is undergoing a high degree of organisational and strategic change.
  • In-Depth Understanding of Banking IT Landscape and Origination/Acquisition Systems
  • Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, micros services and domain applications.
  • Understanding of Technical frameworks including Restful APIs based solutions, Ab-Initio framework and multiple component involved in solutions
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communications
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn the relevance of ITIL on delivery of projects to a service environment
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or similar.

Skills that will help you in the role
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Formal External Agile Certification/accreditation (Certified Scrum Master /Certified SAFe Agilist/Certified Agile Project Manager) will be plus but not essential
  • Should have had experience of working with cross cultural teams at multi locations.
