We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior System Administrator

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical consultancy and take part in system administration, configuration, monitoring, and project delivery
• Prepare server related documentation, such as installation procedure, training guide & testing support
• Control and manage change / release to ensure quality implementation
• Operate and maintain large estate of system environments to ensure security, availability, capacity planning and ever-greening
• Participate in incident / crisis support to provide speedy recovery of service and the subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of improvement actions
• Implement system environment according to the project requirement and platform pattern offerings, including High Availability

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Min 4 years of experience in Websphere Application Server ND and IBM HTTP Server / Plugin Administration / WebSphere Portal Server / Websphere Liberty profile in Linux Environment.
• Build, configure and support projects assigned and ensure quality delivered till the project go live. Installing WebSphere Application Server ND, IBM HTTP server and various other middleware technologies like Apache / Tomcat.
• Working knowledge of cluster / non cluster environment with in WebSphere Application Server ND. Configure and administer WebSphere resources like JDBC providers, Data Sources, JNDI, J2C authentication alias and various other configurations including MQ queue/ qcf etc.
• Deploying J2EE applications like WAR / EAR files through admin console / jython scripts. Installing fix packs on WAS / IBM HTTP Server / Plugin.
• Implementing changes in production servers in tight schedule with utmost quality. Troubleshooting Level1 -2 issues in production / non production.
• SSL certificate renewal for IBM HTTP Server and working knowledge on the WAS key-store / trust-store.
• Enabling Global Security with LDAP for WebSphere Application Server. Knowledge of SSO / configuring Security Domains in WAS.
• Troubleshooting issues related to IHS / WAS / Plugin. Good hands on Linux commands
