Job Description

• Experience in WebSphere Application Server Administration
• Extensive experience in installation, configuration, deployments and ,management of enterprise applications using Websphere Application Server 7.0/8.0/8.5 on linux/unix.
• Extensive experience in installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and webserver plug-in.
• Extensive experience in creating new Virtual Hosts, host aliases and the generation, propagation of plug-in.
• Hands on experience in deploying (WAR,EAR), maintaining and troubleshooting of applications in Websphere environment.
• Creation and configuration of data sources for database connectivity and also configuration of JMS resources.
• Monitoring and Configuration of WAS servers, diagnosed and resolved WAS issues and failures.
• Should be good in troubleshooting performance problems (memory/heap, CPU Starvation, hung threads)
• Should be good in Installed fix packs to overcome application server problems
• Should have Experience in Application Server clustering.
• Should be good in Logs House Keeping and Analysis of system log files for issue resolution.

• Worked on Problem tickets (PMRs) with IBM to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issues.
• Ready to work in rotational shift.
