To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Warehouse Specialist within the Logistics team. This position will be located in Gokak.

Their mission

Undertake logisitics support activity as per defined parameters

Maintenance of warehouse as per the SOP\'s.

Support the Logistics Manager for routine activities

Your experience and talents will make the difference to:

: Warehouse Specialist/Warehouse Leader

• Manage a highly effective team of loading supervisors while ensuring warehousing compliance with establish internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct quality control & safety compliances in warehouse; process any corrections on errors as well.
• Coordinate proper loading slips via logistics invoicing team for correct shipment billing.
• Perform stock rotations per first in, first out (FIFO) guidelines.
• Stock warehouse shelves using FIFO rotation to ensure product quality and expiration dates are valid.
• Follow health and safety regulations according to food safety compliance & GWP guidelines.
• Define shortest and most efficient product movement routes in warehouse for efficient operations.
• Ensure selection of vehicle & loading of materials in vehicle as per the quality & customers specific checklists.
• Have acquired and maintain a good working knowledge of Warehouse management systems, Food safety guidelines.
• Document movement of materials & prepare the required reports for management review.
• Monitor inventory system accuracy and maintain high standards for transactions and documentation.
• Manage the product ageing & freshness within the warehouse
• Ensure right management & storage of sales returns, damaged & non-quality compliant products.
• Ensure warehouse capacity utilization & reduce the overall shifting cost
• Customer centricity while managing the warehouse operations and avoid customer complaints
• Responsible for RCA & CAPA for any complaints related to warehouse operations
• Responsible for stock allocation & management as per the instructions from quality & planning team.
• Coordinate with cross functional team of Manufacturing, Planning & quality to ensure effective warehouse & inventory management.

Warehouse Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree specialization in warehouse management, logistics will be preferred
• A minimum of 5-6 years of experience as a warehouse specialist in a related industry.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management & good warehouse practices.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide operational support outside of business hours.
