This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices Keen understanding of financial control and budget management Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture Job responsibilities This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver quality features Design, develop & deliver fully functional mobile applications & high-quality UI Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Passionate about building an innovative culture Minimum requirements Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 12+ years of combined software/application development experience Rich experience in Java and Kotlin for building Android applications. Fluency in language like Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin Knowledge of app design patterns- MVC/MVVM, etc. Sound knowledge of both Java and Android design patterns and clean architecture and object orientation. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Maven and Jenkins. Preferred skills A passion for the platform and a keen interest in upcoming changes in the OS, the tools and APIs such as material design and compatibility libraries. Experienced in application security aspects and publishing workflows to standard stores Must have a proven track record in developing Android applications with solid understanding of the framework, networking, user interface, API compatibility and best practices Attention to detail and test driven development. Experience with both unit and instrumentation testing.
