Business Description:

Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to support HR as VP- Learning & Talent development specialist.

This Learning role supports the Learning & Talent development agenda for specific businesses/functions, by identifying and implementing training & talent development interventions to address gaps in skills and organisational talent needs.

Job Profile

The role holder will:

• Understand talent needs, design and execute key talent management processes like succession planning, talent development interventions, career initiatives, junior talent proposition, campus proposition, etc.
• Design and implement People Manager capability initiatives that enhance the culture in the teams.
• Act as a central lead for specific domains like junior talent management and create a design strategy & implementation plan for effective outcomes at the Country level.
• Steer the Learning agenda for specific businesses by demand planning, understanding learning needs, designing appropriate interventions and working with outsourced partner for learning execution activities.
• Work closely with Asia Pacific teams, HR stakeholders and business stakeholders to drive effective outcomes of the Learning & Talent agenda.
• Keep abreast of developments in the field of Learning, Talent management and Development with a view to applying best practice in HSBC

Requirements

• Relevant experience in HR with at least 2 year of experience in the areas of Talent and Learning profile
• MBA in HR from a premier business school
• Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher
