Job Description

:

You will join the Global ESX Infrastructure Support team and leverage your knowledge of vSphere and vCF platforms and infrastructure automation to affect change.

The right person for this role will have:

• Experience with VMware, VCF.
• Seven or more years\' experience in vmware support, VCF patching and upgrades.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, JavaScript, PowerShell
• Strong computing fundamentals
• Strong communications, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with multiple teams, and both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in service-level changes to a system and troubleshooting components with VMware vCF environments
• Experience as a VMware ESXi system engineer in an Enterprise class environment
• Experience in large-scale, dynamic, high-availability production environments
• Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
• Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
• Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands
