Job Description


IT Infrastructure Support Engineer - Chennai - BMW Designation: IT Infrastructure Support Engineer Work from Office Experience: 4-6 Years Budget : Up to : 10-12 LPA JD: Responsibilities

  • Dealing with and resolving helpdesk requests through call or email as per SLA.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware and other enterprise applications.
  • Identify and escalate tickets requiring urgent attention and action.
  • Resolve and respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.
  • End-user support, troubleshoot and document technical issues.
  • Install configure and update computer software, hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding user accounts.
  • Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
  • Perform regular Audits of IT Assets and manage inventory.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned by leadership which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. Requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or IT support role.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field would be preferred.
  • Excellent work ethics and strong attention to details.
  • Able to demonstrate well and explain complex technical issues to both technical and nontechnical clients.
  • Understanding on LAN, WAN, printers, routers, Switches, Windows, IOS devices and Servers.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or night shifts during business requirement.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of computer systems, software, hardware, applications, mobile devices, networking and IT Infrastructure.
  • CCNA, MSCE , CompTIA certifications would be an added advantage.
