Smart Ship Hub is seeking Self-driven senior Sales professionals from global Maritime organizations or with exposure of handling large Maritime companies in their portfolio, comfortable in fast-moving ambiguous situations need to apply Total Work Experience: Minimum professional experience 15 years is desirable for this position Experience in Desired skillset: You should have worked a minimum of 8 to 10 in active International Sales. Your knowledge about current opportunities and challenges in global maritime logistics and your prior experience of collaborating with globally based Ship Owners, Technical Managers, Charterers or Operators/ Technical Managers will be key to this role. Your existing relationships with C suite and your experience of working closely with teams around CXO\'s while managing sales process will come in handy to delivery as VP sales. We will be also curios to know more about your \'sphere of influence\' as you drive global business in this role. We work with world\'s largest owners, operators who are digitally transforming themselves and Smart Ship Hub is partnering with them to achieve the transformation objectives. In this role, you will be required to leverage your existing relationships with decision makers across Owners, Operators, Charterers to begin with. Also, actively demonstrate your ability to build new relationships that result in sales opportunities in a time bound manner. You will be responsible for revenue growth and for identifying opportunities globally. Key performance criteria in this role will be adding to the top line of the business with quantified sales closures followed by other performance metrics such as number of contracted vessels and number of contracted clients. While you will work closely with different team ensure significant business growth, customer relationship mgmt. and customer success will be part of overall organization objectives that you will be directly contributing towards. You will be responsible for raising our profile as a provider of choice, lifting sales performance and contributing to the wider business success across India, Singapore, Dubai, Japan, S.E. Desired Skill-set: Should have worked in active sales role for a globally based maritime company. Should have significant connects and relationships with decision makers across vessel owners, operators, charter parties. Should understand and appreciate current opportunities and challenges that global maritime has. For ex. Decarbonization, Digitalization, Vessel Performance, Voyage Performance, remote fleet management. Self-driven, effective as an individual contributor, have substantial experience in international business, have proven experience of acquiring business, directly contributing to revenue generation, can demonstrate extensive network of relationships across owners and operators globally. Good to have at least 8-10 yrs of relevant experience driving active sales and revenue opportunities across regions including: Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Middle East, Europe etc. Demonstrable experience of registering at least few million dollars top line year on year. Excellent CXO level network in maritime space across S. E. Asia, EMEA, UK, North Americas, South America. Need to be a strong and effective communicator, Self-motivated, experience in making presentation, delivering pitch at the highest level in the organization and product demonstration to the decision makers. Need to be tech and data-driven combined with a solid B2B sales and account management experience. Flexibility to be available and work for Global customers. Quick response and turnaround time are a must have for this role. Proven track record selling to large enterprise organizations and are used to negotiating with executive/C-level stakeholders, being at ease navigating complex opportunities. Understanding the commercial constellations between shipowners, technical managers, Operators in shipping is also an advantage. Excellent written and spoken skills is required and some travel is expected. Knowledge of foreign language is a plus. Responsibilities: Expanding Smart Ship Hub fleet of \'Digitally managed vessels\', acquire more vessels under the digital platform. Setting up foundations for progressive sales activities including: lead generation, demand generation, prospecting and developing opportunities in large/medium size accounts. Ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence. Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships Expand knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company Education: Bachelors in engineering or marine sciences and/or Masters Business Administration from a globally reputed institution.
