Vice President Finance & Accounts
Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The incumbent will have primary responsibility of managing day to day activities of Finance & Accounts function and Finance & Accounts team.
Area of Operation/Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly closing & finalization.
- Maintaining an appropriate and efficient Accounting System.
- Experience in development and implementation of ERP accounting systems development will be an added advantage
- Overseeing day to day activities of Accounting and Finance function including team of F&A professionals
- Financial MIS and Assisting Management with all the financial matters and decisions.
- Budgeting and Cost analysis support to the Management and other departments.
- Management of funds to meet the organization\'s needs and efficient deployment of surplus funds.
- Supervising Banking Activities including Current Accounts, SGL Accounts, Nostro Accounts and Custody Accounts.
- Supervising Accounting of Settlement operations and Membership transactions including daily reconciliation.
- Developing and maintaining systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
