- VP (CA_CS)

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

- Oversee financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to aid decision-making by management.

2. Audit and Assurance:

- Plan and execute internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

- Liaise with auditors and manage the audit process, addressing audit queries and implementing recommendations.

3. Tax Planning and Compliance:

- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization\'s tax position.

- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.

4. Corporate Governance:

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and practices.-

- Implement and maintain governance policies and procedures.

5. Legal Compliance:

- Provide legal advice on corporate matters and ensure compliance with company law and other applicable statutes.

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements and contracts.

6. Company Secretarial Functions:

- Serve as the Company Secretary, responsible for statutory compliance and regulatory filings.

- Maintain corporate records, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and registers.

7. Board Support:

- Assist in the preparation of board and committee meeting agendas, minutes, and resolutions.

- Facilitate communication between board members and executive management.

8. Risk Management:

- Identify and assess financial and legal risks, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Develop and monitor risk management policies and procedures.

9. Financial Planning and Strategy:

- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and business plans.

- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

10. Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate financial and legal information to stakeholders, including shareholders, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and Company Secretary (CS) qualification.

- 10 to 12 years of experience in financial management, audit, and company secretarial functions.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and corporate laws.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

- In-depth understanding of taxation laws and practices.

- Proficiency in using financial management software and MS Office.
