Roles and Responsibilities Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge on vehicle systems
- Proficiency on engine, engine power and torque computation
- Proficiency on Manual transmission, gear shift strategy
- Proficiency on Axle power and vehicle resistive power
- Knowledge on Electric machine types and constructions
- Understanding on motoring and generating and energy regeneration
- Knowledge on Battery electric and hybrid electric vehicle\xe2\x80\x99s system functioning and architecture
- Experience on Automotive vehicle system 1D modelling and simulation for Fuel economy and Performance predictions
- Development of 1D simulation models for Automotive Vehicle Energy simulation, Performance simulation and Controls architecture simulation
- Developing models of system physics and mathematical equations and converting them into 1D models
- Report to analyse the simulation results
- Result oriented and able to drive conclusion, recommendations from results analysis
- Proactively take initiatives for capability improvements with in work scope
- Performance, monitoring and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of projects as per the plan
- Create and maintain extensive project documentation
- Identify areas of process improvement and implement process optimization in line with project requirements
- Co-ordination with cross functional teams, suppliers, partners, vendors for execution of the project.
