Job Description
Position Description:
- 6+ years\' experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification
- Any other certifications like JNCIA, ACE, ASE, load balancer, Proxy, Wireless, Voice is advantageous.
- Proven knowledge of WAN, LAN , MAN ,Wireless and Security.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco routers & switches and firewalls
- Knowledgeable in the data circuit technologies, MPLS, Ethernet,
- Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP)
- Configuring/Troubleshooting Routing protocols including but not limited to EIGRP, OSPF, BGP & layer 2 protocols
- Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching - VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS, etc.
- Strong functional knowledge of TCP/IP required
- Configuring/Troubleshooting Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc.
- Configuring/Troubleshooting Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS
- Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches
- Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers 3800, 3900, 7600 Series
- Configuring/Troubleshooting Cisco IOS Software
- Proven knowledge of DNS, IP, Firewalls, latency issues, WAN acceleration tools
- Implement security policies through ACL\'s and MAC level restrictions in LAN and WAN
- Good Wireless knowledge
