Job Description

Location- Chennai, Tamil NaduDesignation - US IT Sourcer/ RecruiterExperience- 2yrs to 6yrsShift Timing: Swing Shift (3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST)Responsibilities:The Sourcer is responsible for driving the overall generation of candidates for positions in the US and globally as needed. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Generate target lists of companies or organizations to research
  • Based on developed research, identify and engage targeted candidates for open positions
  • Develop appropriate search strings to be used in the search process
  • Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Conduct initial communications via email and phone interviews to engage and qualify candidates
  • Work with Recruiters to understand search requirements and strategy
  • Manage all communications with potential candidates to ensure a great experience
  • Use internet tools including internet research, job boards, niche sites, and social media to identify people
  • Make phone calls to target companies to generate prospective candidates
  • Conduct publication and patent searches for prospective candidates
Qualifications:
  • Strongly prefer previous experience recruiting engineers in the semiconductor capital equipment industry
  • Demonstrated success generating candidates through the internet, cold calling, social media, and direct sourcing methods
  • Experience staffing in a fast-paced, high-demand environment that focuses on results
  • Strong understanding of full life-cycle recruiting
  • Knowledge of current technical markets, trends, and competitors is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence individuals while driving for results
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the internet, cold calls, and internet searches
  • Demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend search strategy
  • Ability to read, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and database research
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to make decisions
  • Ability to use research to formulate talent search strategies
  • Knowledge of regulations for the US market
  • Knowledge of technical recruitment
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's level degree with 0 -1 year of related experience or equivalent. Prefer a degree in HR or a related field
  • The source must demonstrate strong team orientation, customer focus, passion for recruiting, and the ability to thrive in a high-demand, results-oriented culture
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work volume to meet client demands
  • Ability to change directions quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Ability to work swing shift to accommodate interaction with the US team
  • Strong English verbal and written language skills
