Key Responsibilities: Design:
- Create sophisticated and captivating Jacquard designs for a variety of ethnic wear, including sarees, suits, dupattas, lehenga cholis, and kalis.
- Employ advanced design software alongside traditional design techniques to develop original patterns, motifs, and textures specifically for ethnic wear.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in ethnic fashion design, textile technology, and innovations within the industry.
- Ensure all designs align with our brand\'s quality benchmarks and aesthetic values.
- Critically evaluate and refine Jacquard designs, enhancing their visual impact and ensuring technical precision.
- Collaborate with the production team to guarantee the accurate realization of designs from concept through to the final product.
- Perform rigorous quality control assessments to uphold exceptional standards of textile production within the ethnic wear category.
- Diagnose and address any design or production challenges related to weaving.
- No specific Qualification
- Demonstrable experience in Jacquard design, with a portfolio featuring ethnic wear such as sarees, suits, and lehenga cholis.
- Proficiency in textile design software Nedgraphics with a solid foundation in traditional Jacquard weaving techniques.
- An artistic eye for detail with the ability to produce designs that resonate with our target audience.
- Comprehensive understanding of fabric types, weaving techniques, and Jacquard production processes specific to ethnic wear.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- A flexible approach to adapt to evolving fashion trends and design requirements.
