• Job Title: Textiles Engineer for Textile / Garment / Handicrafts Industry
• Location: PAN India
• Job Type: Full time / Part-time
 

 
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating the knowledge, skills, and abilities of individuals seeking certification or licensure in a particular field.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments of candidates based on established criteria and standards
• Develop and administer tests to evaluate candidate knowledge and skills
• Evaluate candidate performance and provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of assessment results and communicate with stakeholders as needed
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes to assessment standards
• Participate in the development of new assessment criteria and tools
 
Requirements
Experience Required:
1+ years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching ( For Degree Candidates )
3 years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching For Diploma Candidates )
10 years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching  ( For ITI & Other Relevant Certificate Candidates )
In the case of traditional sectors like Handicraft, etc., where a formal degree or diploma education is not available, 5-10 years of production/field experience in the relevant sub-sector and trade will be taken as minimum eligibility criteria.  Also candidates having Artisan card also become assessor. DC Handicrafts Empanelled Designers can also apply for assessors.
