Education: M. Sc in Agriculture or related subject Experience: Freshers or Experienced. Preference would be for having some experience in field work of agriculture. Job responsibilities: Whole year field engagement in crops like Corn and Rice. Executing complex field trials across crops and multiple sites to deliver high-quality data to enable accurate and timely decisions in the advancement of products through the pre-commercial and breeding pipelines. All activities related to trials - field selection, grower management, field plot management, data collection, contribute to highest data quality. Execute field testing activities as per aligned trial plan - Trials, data capture and data return etc through mechanisation and automation, contributing to efficient data driven advancement decisions. Utilization of research equipment such as planters, combines and digital devices for note taking. Assist in computer related activities. Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the testing program as well as the general operations of a multi-location testing programs. Overnight travel during the planting and harvest season is possible, wherever needed. Several 2-3 days of travel for work and other meetings are likely during the year. Implementation and ensuring compliance of company/functional polices on Environment, Safety and Health, Quality Management Systems, and stewardship across testing locations.
