Testing and Operation Manager

Education: M. Sc in Agriculture or related subject
Experience: Freshers or Experienced.
Preference would be for having some experience in field work of agriculture.

Job responsibilities:

• Whole year field engagement in crops like Corn and Rice.
• Executing complex field trials across crops and multiple sites to deliver high-quality data to enable accurate and timely decisions in the advancement of products through the pre-commercial and breeding pipelines.
• All activities related to trials - field selection, grower management, field plot management, data collection, contribute to highest data quality.
• Execute field testing activities as per aligned trial plan - Trials, data capture and data return etc through mechanisation and automation, contributing to efficient data driven advancement decisions.
• Utilization of research equipment such as planters, combines and digital devices for note taking. Assist in computer related activities.
• Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the testing program as well as the general operations of a multi-location testing programs.
• Overnight travel during the planting and harvest season is possible, wherever needed. Several 2-3 days of travel for work and other meetings are likely during the year.
• Implementation and ensuring compliance of company/functional polices on Environment, Safety and Health, Quality Management Systems, and stewardship across testing locations.
