Job Title - Test Automation Engineer
Location - Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (IT/Computer Science), MCA, BCA, or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science)
Experience: - 4-5 years of experience in Software Testing. (Preferred ISTQB Certified)
CTC: 8 to 12 LPA
Travel: Based on the Exigency of the Assignment /Project
1. Job Overview
This role involved in Manual testing solutions, creating and executing test cases & scripts, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Having an automated testing experience will be an advantage. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment with clear career growth prospects.
2. Qualifications & Experience

• B.E/B.Tech (IT/Computer Science), MCA, BCA, or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science).

• 4-5 years of experience in Software Testing. (Preferred ISTQB Certified)

• Experience with test case design, execution, reporting.

• Exp with Testing of windows and web platform and its testing ecosystem is preferred.

• Good knowledge in Git (Test Plan, Bug reporting etc)

• Experience in test automaton will be an advantage

• Exp with Pipelines in Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Good to have exp in Typescript, Playwright, Cucumber, Docker containers

4. Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in project work to ensure delivery of correct quality and use of related solutions, as required.

• Perform necessary unit testing, writing test scripts, write test procedures and perform tests depending on assigned responsibilities.

• Work closely with team leads and peer developers/testers on different projects.

• Conduct software testing, performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation and ensure quality assurance as part of requirement on project or part of a module.

• Verify and document software functionality on project or part of a module.

• Test new programs to ensure that logic and functionality are correct, program results are accurate; assist other testers and programmers with test assignments.

• Design Unit Tests as part of Test-Driven Development

• Design new automated tests and automate existing manual test procedures.

• Work effectively with teams or work groups inside his formal line of authority to accomplish technical, functional and organizational goals.

• Project Documentation

• Preparing weekly status reports
