Position Objective
Testing automation activities for Product & Application Development projects

J ob Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Gathering Test requirements
• Automate the manual Test Cases using Test Complete Tool
• Develop test scenarios (strings of tests) for Integration, Gray Box
• Create test design including test scenarios, test cases, Test conditions, and Test Data prepration
• Enter, track and retest defects found during the QA phase
• Involve in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, review requirement and Test design

documents and provide feedback.

• Understanding of requriement and develop Test Scenario and Test design
• Assist in resolving issues during integration testing with the Customer and the Development Team Perform all work in accordance with established policies, quality programs, standards and procedures
• Particpate in Status/Stand-Up meetings
• Identify risks and provide mitigation plan. Escalate issues in a timely manner to the Test Lead/PM
• Executes test cases in test environment that simulates production and validates new, modified and existing
• system functionality.
• Perform Peer review of test artefacts.

Prepares test results reports and communicates progress to the Test Lead/Test Manager (Internal /

Technical Skills

• Exposure to desktop based application using Test Complete
• Exposure in creating Test Scenario, Test Case and Test Designs
• Exposure in writing SQL queries
• Support Lead in Provisioning Test Design and Execution Estimates
• Exposure to HP-QC
• Maintian traceability of requirements to test cases in Test Tools like MS Test
• Manager

Functional Skills

• Retail Domain application Testing for small & large retail format Stores.
• Master general principles and software testing methods
• Good understanding of QA processes and software development Life cycle
• Knowledge of functional and structural testing design techniques
• Experience in writing and executing test cases
• Ability to Report and Track defects
• Document anomalies and issues.
• Experience in SQL or other relational database query language necessary, working knowledge of oracle is desired

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Should be a self-starter and Team player who is organized & detailed
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

O nsite Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication, experience of working with / communicating with counterparts from US, Japan is desired.
