As a software design engineer in test (SDET), you will design and build the automation frameworks that enable developers to test the large-scale, complex products they\'re creating.

Every day, you will work alongside a team of passionate, creative developers to understand the different use cases and complete sprints identified during scrum meetings to tackle problems and discover coding priorities. This role is more than development. We rely on you to conceptualize problems to sort the mundane from the must-haves and build the capabilities that allow customers and coders alike to be productive.

To thrive in this coding career, you\'ll need to be an expert in Java and enterprise Java with open source tools, Java 8 or later (preferred language), SQL, Spring, and SpringBoot. You have experience building, testing, and training frameworks to support features in either an automation or machine learning capacity. You\'re also focused on details and constantly wondering how to make it more efficient. Our best developers are enthusiastic creators who stay current on new codes. WHAT YOU\'LL DO:

Here\'s what you can expect on a typical day:

• We\'ll start each day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, ID any issues, and communicate coding priorities. You\'ll participate in all phases of the Software Test Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking, and reporting.
• You\'ll design test plans and data, automate test cases, and capture defects for large-scale, complex software systems. Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards.
• This role will be responsible for testing SecurAX Product on web/mobile devices. You\'ll build and maintain the software testing framework and monitor test performance, always thinking of new ways to simplify and improve our processes. No detail is too small to ignore. Quality matters most. You\'ll do regression testing on applications and various software components.
• You\'ll design, monitor, and analyze quality assurance metrics, including defects, defect count, test results, and statuses.
• We work collaboratively, so you will collaborate across the organization to complete manual and automated tests to deliver products with efficiency and speed.
• You\'re always learning new codes and eager to figure things out as you learn.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Primary Qualifications

• A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience developing test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for web applications and back-end services at scale.
• Experience developing high-quality test strategies and test automation.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems.
• Experience with handling large scale data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong exposure with Selenium and Appium framework.
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, relational & no-SQL databases.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
• Coding experience with automation framework, tools, and services for mobile. Experience in API testing.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
• Knowledge of JS, bash or other scripting languages a plus.
• Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.
