Determine system Requirements by studying project technical specifications and provides the technical expertise during the project lifecycle. Develops and interprets Technical Scope by reviewing project specifications, Tender Documents, and site project requirements. Provides technical Support to the Project technical team during meetings and client visits. Provides technical change control management for contract variations during project execution. Responsible for the overall technical scope of the system, including support for selection of suppliers, integration of the overall system solution and support for technical issues during Site Commissioning and Hand-Over. Provide In-House Engineering Design to ensure compliance with the Project Schedule. Duties and Responsibilities: Assure the accuracy of Engineering milestones which are integral to the project schedule. Inter-discipline coordination and overall quality control of the technical work. Evaluate design changes and modifications providing project impact assessments. Prepare the engineering deliverables \xe2\x80\x9cbase design and detailed design. Support in managing suppliers to ensure all technical deliverables are delivered within the technical scope of the project. Prepare internal Purchase requests in coordination with Engineering, Procurement and Project manager. Providing Technical presentations for internal and external requirements. Ensuring that project filing systems are maintained accurately in line with company requirements. Interface with warehouse staff to ensure that received materials is technically compliant with specification. Proactively works with the integration function to maintain project design compliance. Monitors and remote support when required to the following: Frequent travel globally may be required as per projects requirement. Required Competencies Education: bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent Experience: Minimum 5-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in detailed engineering design and documentation for Commercial, Oil & Gas projects Minimum 4 years of experience with System Integrators, that specializes in Security System preferably for Oil& Gas projects. With solid background in the preparation of engineering documents and drawings such as but not limited to Bill of Materials, Datasheets, Functional Design Specifications, Block Diagram, Wiring Diagram, Dimensional Mounting Details among others, during detailed engineering stage of various projects. Knowledgeable on Ingress protection and Hazardous area classification. Hand on experience in Design, configuration of ELV Security systems including CCTV, Access Control, PA/GA, Structured Cabling, IDS, PIDS, Physical security devices, Video Management Systems, Transmission Systems, SDH/PDH, DWDM, MPLS, OTN, NMS/EMS, Networking skills like LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Data Center, MPLS, Command and Control Systems. MW: Microwave, Tetra, NDB: Non-Directional Beacon, VHF, UHF, LTE, DMR: digital mobile radio, Wi-Max, HF, Paging, SART, Marine, Ground to Air, EPIRB: Emergency Positioning indicating radio beacon, Radar, Pathloss calculation, Radio, or RF Coverage study: IB wave and IOT.
