The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Nokia Network Management products support communication service providers (CSPs) with highly automated and scalable software for managing their 5G networks.

As 5G adds new layers of technical complexity, CSPs will require an intelligent management system to deal with the fast-increasing number of physical and virtual network events that will place heavy workloads on network operation centers.

With a software-driven approach, machine learning techniques and customizable operations, Network Operations Master allows these processes to be automated and simplified, while ensuring that existing operations functionalities are kept.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Part of a development team that is responsible for develop, test and delivering NMS
  • Design and implement SW Modules in J2EE environments / Test automation scripts.
Your skills and experience
  • Essential Skills:
  • Language: Java/J2EE (4+ years exp) / Selenium, scripting and any Test Automation Framework
  • Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Good to have skills:
  • Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban Methodologies
  • Knowledge on OpenStack
  • Experience with shell / Python and Ansible
  • Exposure to UI technologies - Swing, React and NodeJS
  • Test automation using Selenium and ROBOT framework

Responsibilities

- You will be part of a development team that is responsible for developing and delivering cloud native NMS

- Design and implement cloud native microservices architecture in varying cloud environments

- Research, learn new methodologies and technologies and implement them in the project to continuously improve and

optimize design, code, build, deploy, test lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Mater's level degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering

Essential skills:

- Should have programming and software skills

- Hunger to work with new technologies

Software Engineering:

- Understanding of Software Development life-cycle process

- Agile, Scrum, Kanban Methodologies

Desirable skills:

- Familiarity with Linux OS and Tools

- Knowledge of Telecommunication Network Management
