Job Description

Vendasta is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience in technical recruitment to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve collaborating with hiring managers and technical leads to identify and acquire talented individuals with expertise in hiring vanilla and niche skills, as we grow our R&D function and team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of developer roles, technologies, programming languages, and frameworks, along with proven experience in sourcing and assessing developer candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers and technical leads to understand their developer staffing needs and devise effective recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, and attract qualified developer candidates with expertise in vanilla and niche skill sets through various channels, such as job boards, professional networks, social media, and direct sourcing.
• Review resumes and applications, evaluate technical skills, experience, and qualifications, and shortlist potential candidates for further assessment.
• Conduct thorough technical interviews to assess candidates\' coding abilities, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Coordinate and schedule technical interviews with hiring managers and potential candidates.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified developer candidates for current and future software development positions, specifically in Java, Angular, Python, Golang, and full-stack skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in developer recruitment.
• Drive a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely updates, feedback, and support.
• Collaborate with the People Operations team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for selected candidates.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs, providing, regular updates to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of IT recruitment experience, focusing on hiring developers.
• In-depth understanding of developer roles, technologies, and programming languages.
• Strong technical interviewing skills to evaluate candidates\' coding abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with hiring managers, technical teams, and candidates.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant HR software.
