Ability to drive solution and implementation path to execute large security projects. About the job Android Security Assurance is a cross-functional team under Android Security tasked with ensuring that Android is a secure and defended operating system. The team works closely with partners inside of Android such as the rest of Android Security, Android development teams, Android Partner Engineering, Android release, PR, legal, partners outside of Android such as Chrome as well as partners outside of Google including SoC manufacturers, OEMs, and carriers. Android is Google\'s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Android is about bringing computing to everyone in the world. Responsibilities Manage security programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery. Support the ongoing release of the Android Security Bulletin to OEM partners. Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication. Coordinate cross-functionally with different security teams of varying sizes, exercising technical judgment and setting clear expectations about responsibilities.
