Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of technical program management experience.
• Experience in network planning, network design, data center design, and/or global network deployments.

• Experience managing technical vendors and leading quarterly business reviews.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• PMP, Agile project management certification, CCNA, CCNP certifications in network technologies.

• Experience as a network engineer at a large-scale organization before transitioning into program/project management.

• Excellent organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.

In this role, you'll work on the Google Enterprise Network team to ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and automation of one of the largest enterprise networks in the world. You'll define priorities based on our Strategic goals to drive network product development and life-cycle decisions. You'll be working with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Operations teams to ensure new solutions meet Operational needs and drive out technical debt and design/deployment snowflakes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver large technical networking projects.

• Manage and drive the development and delivery of enterprise network engineering products/programs leveraging automation and software programs by coordinating with global delivery teams across the company to facilitate efficient network services to customers.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration between internal Google teams and external vendors to support network services. Develop reports to track scope, schedule, budget, issues, risks, and overall status.

• Manage 3rd party vendors responsible for the monitoring and troubleshooting of network services, including facilitating any escalations requiring engineering assistance. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues to ensure timely delivery.

• Utilize Project Management tools to ensure Project Manager fundamentals such as scope, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risks, and updates are kept current.
