Introduction: As an engineering organisation importance of Automation engineering practices ensure proper control and ensure improving productivity. The Role holder will drive the DevOps/ CI CD agenda for payment screening and responsible to show overall improvements in matrices. What will you be doing . Implement and adhere to world class standards across the team. . Implement and improve DevOps and Engineering practices for all services. . Support the Incident, Change or Problem management processes and incorporate learnings. . Ensure Compliance of project and supporting Audits actions closures. . Design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to benefit the finance community. . Identify and resolve problems, working closely with the BTB & RTB colleagues. . Deliver defect free solutions in-live environment ensuring service stability. . Support leads when there is an incident or problem record that requires L3 involvement, fully understand problems, communicate and where applicable, implement any resolution. . Analyse and identify common problems and look to provide root cause analysis. Build up a comprehensive knowledge base to reduce future issues. . Support leads in evaluation, pilot and implementation range of new technologies, in line with Barclays\' Divest/Invest strategy. . Work closely with other areas of the business in Proof of Concept projects, integrating code and data seamlessly. . Work closely with geographically distributed teams to ensure best utilization of resource and allocation of project work. . Contribute to project plans and the overall team status reports. Skills that will help you in the role: . Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree of engineering from a reputed institution with 4-7 years of IT/relevant work experience. . Must have 5 years of prior experience working as a Infrastructure Specialist. . Experience in preferably Financial Crime/Compliance domain or any other BFSI domain. . Engineering degree from reputed university or equivalent (e.g. BCS, MCS etc.) with first class aggregate. . Excellent knowledge of working on UNIX environment with exposure to one or more well-known UNIX flavours such as IBM AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux . Has excellent knowledge of writing of UNIX shell scripts for deployment, automation and housekeeping. . Knowledge of DevOps Tools/Technology such as Git/BitBucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Chef/Ansible . Has good knowledge of Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere MQ, OpenShift . Is aware of the concept of job scheduling, batch jobs etc and has exposure to one or more of scheduling tools such as IBM TWS, Autosys, cronjob etc. . Hands on RDBMS and worked on project involving PL/SQL, stored procedures. . Has good web service development experience using REST / SOAP . Has good understanding of OO Designing and Programming Techniques and associated concepts, Data Modelling, Design Patterns . Knowledge of JAVA, Selenium, open source DB\'s, rest API, JBOSS, Tomcat etc. . Exposure to code quality tools like SonarQube, Junit, Vera code and integration with IDE\'s . Exposure to Security tools and practices such as CyberArk Safe, SSH Key, Key Tabs etc . Exposure to knowledge of CI/ CD pipeline and automated deployment process Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: . Customer Screening Application specific: - o Should have end to end knowledge of Customer Screening data flow/ Payment Screening Data flow o Exposure of working with Development team and High value application. . Experience in Agile delivery is preferred. . Excellent hands on in Agile methodologies, Jira tool and managing user stories, Kanban board etc. . Exposure to new technology trends. Hands on/ solid understanding on design / development of APIs, micro services, etc. . Coordinate meetings and discussions with stakeholders and team members. . Development experience with Screening tools similar to FircoSoft Screening will be added advantage. . Skills and Knowledge of Agile principles and practices, good knowledge of ITIL practices . Understanding on ICP/AWS essentials and development. . Understanding on Payment Landscape.
