Department Balance Sheet Management Unit (Overseas Business Units (OBU) - Business development Support & Treasury Business Process re-engineering) Location Mumbai Number of Positions 01 Reporting Relationships Position Grade M4-M5 [Senior Manager - Chief Manager] OBU - Business development support function within Balance Sheet Management Unit (BMU) in Treasury handles aspects to facilitate business development and coordination concerning activities of the OBUs, currently Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) & Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) branch. Treasury Business Process Re-engineering Group (T-BPRG) is responsible for re-engineering and management of business processes in the areas of Fixed Income, Money Markets, FX & Derivatives in Treasury department. Job Role This role will be responsible for the following: Enabling the OBUs with set up related activities eg. Coordination for Product documentation, product approvals etc. and ongoing activities to facilitate business development & smooth operations of the branch. Documentation & management of processes & policies for Treasury department. OBU - Business Development support Facilitate the OBU branch in the following indicative activities for all products being offered by the branch viz. Loans, Deposits, Current Accounts, Trade / Treasury products or other products offered by the branch from time to time. Co-ordination with stakeholders with regards to the following: Set up / Design related requirements (Eg. Product approval, Process design & implementation etc) Ongoing basis (where required) - to facilitate business growth requirements and ensure smooth operations of the branch Business monitoring: On an ongoing basis, monitor control reports to ensure operations of the Branch are in conformity with the expected standards & budgets set by management / regulators. Following are the indicative areas for reference: Business MIS Product performance reports Budget v/s Actual data etc. Business development support: Coordinate with branch / other stakeholders as required to enable / assist the branch for growth through implementation of new products / product features / new offerings etc. Documentation related Support the Branch and coordinate to provide assistance in documentation of product notes, process frameworks etc. where required Facilitate / assist the Branch in handling changes to the key policies as applicable due to business/regulatory changes Co-ordinate with stakeholders to facilitate reduction in operational risks for the business by working towards closure of the identified areas prone to risks through process re-engineering as required. Ongoing and effective interaction between users from various sections i.e Product team, Front office, Operations, IT, BSG etc and with control functions such as Compliance, Risk, Legal, Audit etc. to assist the Branch in their new / existing requirements Treasury - BPRG Ongoing monitoring & review of implemented processes to ensure compliance with documented procedures. Documentation of new processes as per Business, Product & regulatory requirements Evaluate existing processes to identify compliance requirements, re-engineering opportunities and design processes accordingly Understand audit and compliance requirements and document processes to ensure internal and external compliances are met Understand requirements of MIS at various levels in the hierarchy and incorporate the same into the process to ensure seamless reporting Identify dependent activities and hand-offs in the value chain and assign performance metrics for tracking end to end completion of the process Ongoing monitoring and update to the policies as applicable due to business/regulatory changes Ongoing and effective interaction, and expectation management, between business users from various sections of Treasury (Front office, Mid office, Operations, IT & BSG) Candidate should be result oriented, self-starter and pro-active Candidate should have aptitude for trouble-shooting Candidate should have good command on oral and written communication Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and procedures for achieving expected results Job requirements: Understanding of the products and risks and controls associated with a product / process and proven capabilities in terms of documentation / improvement of the same Understanding of the roles of different teams and interfaces required with different departments and be able to reach out for effective closure of the requirements from time to time Basic knowledge of Banking, Trade & Treasury products High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Comfortable with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power-point If you wish to apply for this job position, please fill your details in the pplication Form and mail to Please mention the following in the subject line as \' \'Position Name\' -\' Your Name\' - \' Your Current Business group \'
