Global Manufacturing - Engineering & Business Service Center - SCM EBSC SCM is a department under Engineering & Business service center, supporting Direct material Buying and Transportation, Production Planning and CAPEX buying & Logistics coordination for all Vestas Factories across the globe. This is a centralized offshoring team based at Chennai. Responsibilities Capable of Leading a team, Demonstrating leadership & Management skills Hands on Experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding on Inbound, Outbound & Customs clearance Transport Executions from Suppliers to Factories & Factories to Port of Loading deliveries in coordination with Forwarders & Third parties Execute SAP TM updates based on purchase orders / requests from our stakeholders according to defined processes. Create Purchase Orders in SAP based on TMS Bookings, PR to PO Conversion Data Updates in SAP relates to Shipment Creation & Routes & it maintenance based on business requirements. Execute Daily/Weekly/Monthly/ Reports/MIS/Presentations to stakeholders Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders related to process issues. Service and actively collaborate with internal stakeholder from all over the world for occurring tasks relates to Transport Services. Contribute to delivering the promised service level to the business. GR & IR reconciliations & Experience in handling workflows, transportation invoices & disputes. Continuous Improvement activities/Drive the projects & Process Support Logistics Team stakeholders to improve logistics value chain efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes Qualifications Bachelors or Master\'s degree preferably in Supply Chain Planning / Logistics. Minimum 9 to 10 years of relevant experience in SCM or Shipping or Freight Forwarder Companies involving SCM. Proficient in Microsoft Office Package required (Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP MM / SAP TM modules Knowledge on Shipping / Freight Forwarder Process Knowledge on Transport Management System in SAP is needed. Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions & customer service mindset Strong interpersonal & ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Fluent in English communication (Oral & Written) Flexible regarding work hours to support different global regions Self-Driven, Structured and organized to deliver within deadlines.
